Join the San Diego Women's Chorus on Thursday July 16th and help us kick off San Diego Pride Week with our first ever full-length Pride Season concert in our nearly 30 years history: I Am.
Celebrate Individuality & Authenticity: Pride season encourages each of us to be proud of who we are. It’s about embracing individuality, discovering our personal identity and coming to terms with our authentic selves. I Am will celebrate the fluid, evolving journey of our individual identities with uplifting and affirming music and spoken word as SDWC performs pieces by feminist music icon Holly Near, and contemporary powerhouses like Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga and Sara Bareilles.
Pre-show Happy Hour starting at 6:30pm. We will have an assortment of beer, wine and appetizers available, as well as complimentary coffee and water. Come early, enjoy some tasty beverages and food, and peruse our I Am art installation of written word and imagery.
